At the end of the Little Bear
They say it is where it shines the most.
These, however, have not yet stared
At the snare that has just evoked.
Here I am, facing the crowd,
My eyes can’t stop straying.
I try to stay focused, but then again, they slip;
I try to shroud them, but then again, they trip.
People will notice, ’cause it’s in plain sight,
But I can’t get over that light.
Her eyes! Oh lord, her eyes
Will keep me awake all night.
They’re working like magnets on me.
I’m condemned to the attraction.
Oh, I forgot what I’ve been asked!
How did I fall in love so fast?
